Wild Dunes Resort announces new Event Operations Manager

Wild Dunes Resort, a Destination by Hyatt property in Isle of Palms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Monica Bennett as Event Operations Manager. Bennett hails from Calamigos Ranch in California where she held several different positions since 2005, including Director of Operations, General Manager and Director of Events.
With 17 years of hospitality and event management experience, Bennett is responsible for executing events and ensuring all logistics requirements are carried out according to plan.
“Bennett’s experience working in several different positions in restaurants and on events teams make her the perfect fit to lead our events team at Wild Dunes Resort,” says Robb Walker, managing director of Wild Dunes Resort. “We look forward to the continued growth of Wild Dunes’ event operations under the helm of Monica’s experience and leadership.
Bennett is the youngest of three sisters and is new to Charleston, having spent most of her life in Malibu, California. In her free time, Bennett enjoys fitness and going to the gym.
