Will Teasdale is appointed new site manager for BASF in Seneca

SENECA, SC – Will Teasdale is the new site manager for the BASF Seneca plant, located in Oconee County, South Carolina.

His career started as a Quality Assurance Chemist with Allied Colloids in 1995, which was acquired by Ciba in 1998. He served as a Production Manager and Production Engineer with Ciba before it was acquired by BASF in 2009. Most recently, Teasdale served as the manager of the BASF site in St. Louis, Missouri.

A native of Birmingham, England, Teasdale is a graduate of The University of Wales with a degree in chemistry.
The BASF Seneca facility makes specialty chemical catalysts and precious metal salts and solutions that are used by BASF customers to produce a wide variety of products, including herbicides, plastics, pharmaceuticals, auto emission catalysts, fragrances and fertilizers. They also produce water treatment products for the removal of lead, arsenic, and other impurities from drinking water.
