Williams Joins Franklin Funding as Reverse Mortgage Specialist

CHARLESTON, SC – Cheri Williams has joined Franklin FundingReverse Mortgages as a reverse mortgage specialist. Previously, Williamswas with MetLife Reverse Mortgages. She has more than six years ofexperience and knowledge helping older adults safely access their homeequity to help fund retirement living and long-term care needs.

Williams lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and has one daughter,who is a senior at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. Reverse mortgages are available to seniors age 62 and older who havehome equity. They allow senior homeowners to borrow against the equityin their homes without having to make monthly payments as is requiredwith a traditional mortgage. With a reverse mortgage, funds are advancedto the borrower and interest accrues, but the outstanding balance isn’tdue until the last borrower leaves the home, sells the home or dies.
