Wilson Associates co-founder/vice president, Nick Carlson, named South Carolina Association of REALTORS® secretary

First statewide officer from Upstate in more than ten years

Wilson Associates, one of Greenville’s largest independent and highest-producing real estate firms, is pleased to announce that its co-founder and vice president, Nick Carlson, has been installed as the 2027 secretary of South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR), the largest trade association in the state with 29,000 members. The installation took place during SCR’s Board of Directors meeting Sept. 17, 2026. Carlson’s one-year term begins Jan. 1, 2027.

Carlson, a recognized statewide real estate expert, frequently quoted in the media and called upon to represent the industry through lobbying and agent training efforts, is the first SCR officer from the Upstate in more than a decade. He comes to the role following extensive service to the profession, including serving as the vice president and president of the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®  in 2022 and 2023, respectively. At the state association level, Carlson has held positions on the SCR Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Nominating Committee. A 2026 graduate of the SCR Leadership Academy, he was named the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® of the Year award in 2025. He is also very involved with the National Association of REALTORS®.

A proud graduate of Clemson University, Carlson has spent his entre career in real estate and is passionate about giving back to his industry and his community. He is active with multiple South Carolina charities, including Hands On Greenville, AID Upstate and Project Host, and has played a key role in raising funds and securing donations for Cancer Survivors’ Park and Unity Park. As SCR Secretary, Carlson hopes to continue his work to advance the profession, mentor the next generation of realtors, educate fellow professionals and the public at large on key issues and advocate for needed regulatory and policy changes that will help real estate professionals and their clients.
