Womble Carlyle promotes two new partners in Charleston office

Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP announced that seven of its attorneys have become partners in the firm. The attorneys, all of whom served previously in associate or of counsel roles at Womble Carlyle, are: Ashley Kelley and Johnny Warren in the firm’s Charleston office, as well as John Cox, Amanda Ray, Jennifer Ammirati , Dana Severance, and Tryn Stimart.

Charleston

Johnny Warren is an experienced real estate development and corporate transactions attorney. He has represented national and community banks as general counsel and special counsel, and he has guided mid-market and smaller corporations, partnerships, and joint ventures in a wide range of corporate transactions. Warren practices in Womble Carlyle’s Charleston office.

Ashley Kelley represents companies in commercial litigation matters, including employment, construction, product liability and general business cases. She practices in Womble Carlyle’s Charleston, S.C. office.

Other offices

Amanda Ray is a business litigator and a former Associate Attorney General in the N.C. Department of Justice’s Consumer Protection Division. She regularly represents financial services, technology and manufacturing clients in with civil and administrative matters. Ray practices in the firm’s Raleigh, N.C. office.

Dana Severance is a patent litigator with particular experience in pharmaceutical patent infringement matters, such as ANDA disputes. She practices in Womble Carlyle’s Wilmington, Del. office.

Tryn Stimart is a litigator focusing on complex scientific and technology related issues.  Stimart also provides pre-litigation strategy and general IP related counseling. He practices in the firm’s Northern Virginia office.

Jennifer Ammirati represents large and small companies in a variety of transactional matters, including financing, securities law compliance, investment fund work, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She practices in the firm’s Research Triangle Park, N.C. office.

John Cox represents clients in patent litigation related to chemical, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical matters and has significant experience in Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) cases. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry, and practices in the firm’s Atlanta office.
