Wyche Continues to Grow Its Litigation Practice

GREENVILLE, SC – September 19, 2012 – Wyche continues to grow its litigation practice by welcoming two new associates, Honore Hishamunda and Chris Schoen, to the firm.

Honore N. Hishamunda joins Wyche’s litigation practice group directly following his graduation from Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, Honore served as Junior Editor for the Harvard International Law Journal and a student practitioner for the Consumer Bankruptcy Project, in which he guided individual debtors through the bankruptcy process. He participated in summer clerkships with several law firms around the country and was able to gain experience working on a wide range of cases. Honore is a magna cum laude graduate of Auburn University where he served as an economics tutor to athletes and a mentor to diverse incoming and freshman students.

Christopher B. Schoen (Chris) also joins Wyche as a litigation associate. Prior to joining the firm, Chris served as a law clerk to The Honorable C. Weston Houck, United States District Judge in Charleston, SC. During his two year clerkship, he was exposed to a wide variety of litigation matters. Chris is a South Carolina native and a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. While at the University of Virginia School of Law, Chris served on the Submissions Review Board for the Virginia Journal of International Law, participated in Extramural Mock Trial and the Lile Moot Court Competition and was named a Senior Dillard Fellow, serving as a legal writing instructor for first-year students. Chris received the Bracewell & Giuliani Oral Advocacy Award. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Furman University, where he served as the Parliamentarian and Executive Council Member of the student government, competed with the Furman Mock Trial team at the national level, and received the Henry P. Jones Medal for Excellence in the Law.
