Y’all Aboard! The South Carolina Railroad Museum unveils new brand identity

March 23, 2021

The South Carolina Railroad Museum (SCRM) is pleased to share its newly imagined brand identity and positioning concept, “Y’all Aboard,” as a part of a pro bono rebranding initiative developed by Riggs Partners, a local marketing consultancy. As one of the recipients of the 2019 Riggs Partners CreateAthon, The South Carolina Railroad Museum received a full suite of brand and product-line logos, merchandise design, marketing tools, and brand standards. Supporters of The South Carolina Railroad Museum will begin to see these logo assets unveiled on social media, in marketing items, and on the SCRM website, which is currently under construction.

“We are incredibly excited to begin sharing our new brand identity,” said the South Carolina Railroad Museum Chairman of the Board, Kelvin Woods. “As a completely volunteer-run organization, we were so fortunate to receive the time and talents of the Riggs Partners team. The creative logos and genius tag line bring new life to our organization that we are excited to build upon for years to come.”

Like many museums and nonprofits, the South Carolina Railroad Museum has faced financial setbacks due to COVID-19. However, the organization is continuing to create lasting memories for families and rail-fans all over the state with limited train events including the upcoming Easter Bunny Eggspress trains. Supporters can visit the existing website at www.scrm.org for ticket information. Due to limited seating, the South Carolina Railroad Museum requests all tickets be purchased in advance online. Senior and military discounts are available.

The South Carolina Railroad Museum will also be participating in the Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Midlands Gives fundraising event. Supporters are welcome to visit www.midlandsgives.org/scrm on or before Tuesday, May 4th to make a donation to the organization.
