Young Builders Invited to Lego™ Free Build at Laurens Library

May 12, 2025

Calling all young creators! The Laurens County Public Library (1017 W Main St, Laurens) is hosting a Lego™ Free Build event as part of its Kids Club programming on Monday, May 19th at 4:00 p.m. Children ages 6 to 10 are invited to let their imaginations soar during this hour-long session of creative, hands-on play.

With a table full of colorful bricks and limitless possibilities, young engineers and architects will have the opportunity to build anything they can dream up. From towers and castles to spaceships and animals, this open-ended activity is designed to encourage problem-solving, storytelling, and fun.

“This is a great chance for kids to explore their creativity while developing fine motor skills and spatial awareness,” said a library spokesperson. “Plus, it’s just a lot of fun!”

The Lego™ Free Build is free and open to the public, but space may be limited. Parents and guardians are encouraged to arrive early.
