Young Lawyers Hosting Backpack and Supply Drive

COLUMBIA, SC – The SC Bar Young Lawyers Division, in conjunction with the Cooperative Ministry, is collecting backpacks and other school supplies for donation to schools and students throughout the state for its annual Backpack and School Supply Drive. Supplies are being collected through Thursday, Aug. 14, and can be dropped off at the locations listed below. Take advantage of the upcoming tax-free weekend, Aug. 7-9, to purchase items.
 
Examples of items needed include new backpacks, spiral bound notebooks, loose leaf paper, composition notebooks, binders, pocket folders, scissors, rulers, compasses, protractors, dividers, mechanical pencils, #2 pencils, highlighters, dry erase markers, crayons, 3×5 index cards, Post-It notes, book covers, dictionaries and large boxes of Kleenex.
