YWCA Greater Charleston hosting its first ever pitch competition

The YWCA Greater Charleston announced the six women who are now preparing to compete for thousands of dollars to fuel the growth of their businesses.
At their first-ever WE 360° pitch competition, three contestants will be awarded prizes of $7,500 (first place winner), $6,000 (second), and $5,000 (third) for their businesses. The cash prizes are made possible by Procter & Gamble.
Each entrepreneur is receiving coaching from one of three mentor coaches, and will make her pitch in front of three judges at 6 PM on Thursday, May 9.
The three coach mentors: local business superstars Kenya Dunn, founder of The Power-Filled Woman, Jaymes McCloud, CEO of J.H.W. Enterprises, and Sarah Castle, professor of entrepreneurship at College of Charleston and founder of Castle Coaching & Consulting.
