Zach Ward of Miller-Valentine Construction Graduates from Leadership Charleston

CHARLESTON, SC – Project manager, Zach Ward of Miller-Valentine Construction, has graduated from the 2014 Leadership Charleston class; a Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce program designed to provide existing and emerging leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge, responsibility and professional network. In this program, participants develop the skills necessary to assume leadership roles within the community and also become exposed to opportunities for community involvement. This year’s class marked the 40th anniversary of the Leadership Charleston program.
This year’s project teams were given the opportunity to work with several non-profit organizations in the greater Charleston community. Each non-profit organization engaged their respective Leadership Charleston project team to address a specific need of that organization ranging from developing a new marketing strategy for Metanoia’s Youth Leadership Programs to creating and filming a new commercial for the Ronald McDonald House. Through the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Charleston program, the Class of 2014 has made a positive impact in our region and the lives of those who depend on these organizations as well as inspiring the future generation of leaders within our community.
Mr. Ward has over 5 years of experience in the construction industry including a wide variety of design/build projects ranging from Class “A” office, industrial, medical, military, hotel, religious and retail facilities. He and his fiancée, Chrissy, reside in Charleston.
