Hello Weekend and Welcome to Fall Y’all

Wednesday was the first day of Fall.  Are you glad to see the change of seasons and all things Fall? There are some fun Fall things to do in Laurens County.

Some fun Fall events include:

The Patch in Mountville – The Patch will be open every Friday and Saturday 10 am -6 pm and every Sunday 2-6 pm until the end of October. A great selection of pumpkins, gourds, and other Fall decorations, U-pick pumpkin patch, wagon rides and more.

Lush Acres Fall Festival and Corn Maze – The Fall Festival/Corn Maze will take place on September 25^th and the Corn Maze will be open from September 25^th – November 6^th. Hours for the Corn Maze is Friday & Saturday 11 a.m. – dark. The cost of admission is $10 (children 3 and younger are free).

Stewart Farms – Come out for the U-pick pumpkin patch (closes at 7pm) and wagon rides. Click here for times.

Here’s more of what we know about local events for the weekend:

Friday, September 24^th:

• Friday night football schedule (all games start at 7:30 pm)
  • Clinton hosting Newberry
  • Laurens Academy – bye week
  • Laurens at North Augusta
• Palmetto Brothers is presenting Friday Night Live with Sounds Familiar! at the dispensary from 7 pm – 9 pm.

• Dining at local restaurants in Laurens, Clinton, Cross Hill, Fountain Inn and more!

  Saturday, September 25^th: 

• Laurens Farmers Market – (8 am – 12 noon) Each week the farmers market gets better and better.  They will be set up on the Roma side of the Square so grab a coffee from the Coffee Roost and shop all the great deals at the farmers market.

• Fountain Inn Farmers Market – 110 Depot Street, Fountain Inn. Open from 8 am to noon.

• The 3rd annual (Gone to The Dogs) Fall Benefit Car Show for Laurens County Animal Shelter. $20 to enter the show. All money goes to help the Laurens County Animal Shelter.Read more on Facebook
• Shop local including some great stores in Laurens and Clinton.
• If the weather permits, get outside and check out the hiking trails, canoeing areas and bike routes right here in Laurens County

Sunday, September 26^th:

• The Concert Truck, a mobile music venue, will roll into Clinton to provide a delightful classical music concert at 3:00. Click here for more information.
